Ali Hassan

Ali Hassan is an established legal professional with significant experience in housing law and tenant representation. Currently serving as a Staff Attorney at Legal Services NYC since September 2022, Ali represents Brooklyn tenants in Eviction Court under New York’s Right to Counsel Law. Previous roles include Housing Student Attorney at Harvard Legal Aid Bureau from September 2020 to May 2022, Law Clerk at the National Housing Law Project during the summer of 2021, and Legal Intern at The Legal Aid Society's HIV/AIDS Representation Project in the summer of 2020. Ali holds a Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School (2019-2022) and a Bachelor of Public Affairs and Policy Management from Carleton University (2015-2019).
