Lino A. Medina Mendez

Lino A. Medina Mendez has extensive experience in the legal and social services sectors, currently serving as a Paralegal and Intake Officer at Legal Services NYC since July 2014, where responsibilities include performing eligibility screenings and providing referrals under attorney supervision. Additionally, Lino has been a Project Data Coordinator at FEGS since March 2013, assisting the Program Director and participating in program development. Previous experience includes roles as a Secretary for Costa Rica Networking Group NYC, a Service Advisor at Firestone Complete Auto Care, and a Staff Member at the Hispanic Federation, contributing to various community-focused initiatives. Lino started a legal career as a Paralegal intern at Shirley Burck Esq. in 2006 and has also worked as an ESL Paraprofessional, supporting language acquisition for Spanish-speaking students. Lino holds a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from Stony Brook University and has completed coursework at Nassau Community College and Instituto Educativo Moderno.
