Rachel Welt

Rachel Welt is a dedicated legal professional currently serving as a Staff Attorney at Legal Services NYC since September 2021. Rachel completed a Lewis Steel Racial Justice Fellowship at New York Law School from September 2020 to August 2021 and has experience as a Pro Bono Scholar at Brooklyn Legal Services in the LGBTQ/HIV Advocacy Unit. Additional legal experience includes a legal internship at the Center for Court Innovation and involvement as a Fellow at the Impact Center for Public Interest Law, where Rachel engaged in event planning and legal research. Earlier career roles include legal internships at the Sylvia Rivera Law Project and Lawyers for Children, alongside volunteer work at The Trevor Project. Rachel's educational background includes a Juris Doctor from New York Law School and a degree in Music Management from The Hartt School, University of Hartford.
