Sarah T.

Sarah T. serves as the Director of the LGBTQ/HIV Advocacy Unit at Legal Services NYC, overseeing advocacy efforts in both Brooklyn and Manhattan since December 2022. Prior to this role, Sarah held the position of Deputy Director of Legal Services at the New York City Anti-Violence Project, managing a team dedicated to representing LGBTQ+ and HIV+ survivors of violence. Sarah's extensive legal experience includes positions as a Senior Staff Attorney at Legal Services NYC, specializing in immigrant rights and housing law, as well as internships across various legal settings, including immigration law and public health projects. Sarah earned a Juris Doctor degree from Cardozo School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology with a minor in French from the University of Pennsylvania.
