Eric Keith began their work experience as a Staff Accountant at Scheffel & Company in 2001. Eric then transitioned to the role of Semi-Senior Accountant before becoming a Senior Accountant in 2004. Eric moved on to Scheffel & Company as a Supervisor in 2006, where they prepared tax returns and performed financial statement audits. In 2011, Eric joined Liberty Bank as the Controller and later became the Chief Financial Officer in 2014. During their time at Liberty Bank, Eric managed various auditing and reporting processes, as well as a $120 million bond portfolio. In 2018, Eric took on the role of Chief Financial Officer at the Beverly Farm Foundation, where they implemented new accounting software, managed financial reporting processes, and oversaw various cost-saving measures. Currently, Eric Keith works as the Director of Finance at Legal Services of Eastern Missouri.
Eric Keith received their Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, attending from 1996 to 2001. Eric has also obtained the certification of Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from the Illinois Board of Examiners. Legal Services of Eastern Missouri advances justice through legal representation, education and supportive services. We partner with the community to improve lives, promote fairness and create opportunities for those in need. With offices in St. Louis, Clayton, Union and Hannibal, Legal Services serves 21 counties in eastern Missouri with a range of legal programs including: Advocates for Family Health, Children's Legal Alliance, Community Economic Development Program, Connecting Kids to Coverage, Consumer Law Program, Education Justice Program, Elder Law Program, Family Court Program, Housing Law Program, Immigration Law Program, Lasting Solutions Family Law Program, Legal Advocates for Adults with Mental Illness Program, Marketplace Assistance Program, Medical-Legal Partnership, Public Benefits Program and the Youth & Family Advocacy Program. In 2016, Legal Services helped more than 31,000 Missourians, with over 12,000 helped through direct case work and an additional 19,000 helped through outreach, education, publications and referrals. 15,791 volunteer hours were provided by more than 520 individuals. Legal Services of Eastern Missouri is proud to be a Legal Services Corporation (LSC) grantee, and we comply with all LSC conditions and prohibitions in acceptance of all funds.
