Erin Bennett

Erin Bennett, JD, MPH, serves as a Supervising Attorney at Legal Aid of North Carolina since September 2020, leading initiatives for the Medical-Legal Partnership Program and the LANC Healthy Opportunities Pilot Program. Previously, Erin held the role of Staff Attorney for the Disaster Relief Program and Medical-Legal Partnership. Additional experience includes positions as a Graduate Research Assistant at the North Carolina Institute of Medicine and a Student Law Clerk under Daniel Read, Esq., where support was provided for various legal matters. Erin's background also includes roles at LexisNexis, as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health, and a Summer Legal Intern at the NC Department of Justice. Educational qualifications consist of a Doctor of Law from the University of North Carolina School of Law and a Master of Public Health from UNC Gillings School of Public Health, complemented by a Postgraduate Certificate in Paralegal Studies from Georgetown University and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from William & Mary.
