Erin Haygood serves as the Supervising Attorney and Director of Pro Bono Programs at Legal Aid of North Carolina since December 2021, overseeing the statewide pro bono program, developing new initiatives, and collaborating with various organizations to enhance civil legal services for low-income individuals. Prior experience includes serving as President of the 18th Judicial District Bar from October 2021 to June 2022, Managing Attorney at the Pittsboro Office of Legal Aid of North Carolina from January 2017 to December 2021, and Staff Attorney at The Child's Advocate, where legal representation was provided for children in high-conflict custody cases involving domestic violence or abuse from August 2014 to January 2017. Erin holds a Juris Doctor degree from Wake Forest University School of Law, obtained between 1994 and 1997.
