Marion Blackburn

Marion Blackburn, MPA, serves as a City Council Member for District 3 in the City of Greenville, NC Government since June 2022 and has been with Legal Aid of North Carolina as a Special Projects Assistant and Legislative Affairs Paralegal since April 2020. With extensive experience in project management, writing, and policy development, Marion has run The Marion Blackburn Agency since October 1995, focusing on marketing and public relations. Previous roles include serving as a City Council Member from 2009 to 2015, where significant contributions included advocating for funding for parks and greenway projects and enhancing animal welfare policies. Marion holds a Master of Public Administration from East Carolina University and a Bachelor's degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, along with an MA from Université Paris-Sorbonne.
