Marc Rinkel

Marc Rinkel has a diverse work experience. In 2008, they started as a Software Engineer at Jaguar Land Rover, where they focused on Hybrid Electric Vehicle Development and Integration. Marc then moved on to AVL as an Engineer in Software Development for Hybrid System Control. In 2009, they joined IHS, Inc. as a Senior Analyst in Powertrain Forecasts, later becoming a Principal Consultant in Strategic Advisory. Marc worked at IHS Markit from 2015 to 2017, where they managed a team of consultants providing strategic planning services for automotive industry players. In 2018, Marc pursued an MBA at HEC Paris, and in 2019, they joined AUTO1 Group as the Director of Operations for France. Following that, they became a Co-Founder at FastMoov in 2020 before serving as Chief Operating Officer at homeloop in 2021. Currently, Marc is a Fellow at On Deck and will assume the role of Chief Operating Officer for the Accounting business line at LegalPlace in September 2022.

Marc Rinkel holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from HEC Paris, which they obtained between 2018 and 2019. In 2019, they also earned a Certificate in Data Science & Artificial Intelligence from École Polytechnique. Marc attended the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) in 2011 for their Summer School program, focusing on Microeconomics & Game Theory. Prior to that, they completed their Master of Science (MS) degree in Automatics and Electrical Systems, with a specialization in Electrical Energy Management, at the University of Lille 1 Sciences and Technology from 2006 to 2008.

In addition to their formal education, Marc has obtained several certifications. Marc completed the Supply Chain Analytics course from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) through edX in 2020. Marc also holds a Freight Forwarder License/Commissionnaire de transport certification from the Ministère de l'Environnement. Furthermore, they have completed Leadership & Decision Making training at the Ecole Spéciale Militaire de Saint-Cyr.
