Simon Genevaz has been Head of the mergers department of the French Competition Authority since 2006. A lawyer at the New York bar, he previously practiced in the Brussels office of the firm Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton. Simon is a former student of the Ecole Normale Supérieure de Cachan and a graduate of Harvard University. Specialist in competition law, he is the author of numerous publications in France and abroad concerning the law of anti-competitive practices and the control of concentrations.
