Zach Walker

Zach Walker, CISSP, has a strong background in cybersecurity with extensive experience in various roles and organizations. Zach is currently working as the Director of Security Operations at Legato Security since February 2023. Prior to this, they worked as the Principal Cyber Security Consultant at Google from November 2022 to February 2023. Before Google, they worked at Mandiant as a Principal Cyber Security Consultant from July 2022 to November 2022 and as a Senior Cyber Security Consultant from October 2020 to July 2022. Zach'sprevious roles include Director of Security Services at Arctic Wolf Networks from April 2018 to August 2020, Director of Technical Support at SecurityMetrics from August 2015 to April 2018, Technical Support Engineer at Venafi from August 2014 to August 2015, and Security Support Manager at SecurityMetrics from July 2009 to July 2014. Zach began their career as a Service Manager at Nuvont Communications from August 2005 to March 2009 and as an Install Technician at Atlas Marketing Group from January 2005 to July 2005.

Zach Walker, CISSP, completed their education in Information Technology - Security from Western Governors University from 2015 to 2018. In addition, they obtained numerous certifications from institutions such as (ISC)², CompTIA, and Cisco, including Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) in 2014.
