Femke de Backer

Femke De Backer is a QC Analyst II at Legend Biotech from April 2023 to April 2025, focusing on contamination control and environmental monitoring, with experience in QC testing and microbiological control for autologous CAR-T products in a cGMP cleanroom environment. Prior experience includes an internship at Technological University Dublin, where Femke conducted research on high lipase levels in breast milk and their potential correlation with lipase-producing bacteria in the mammary microbiome. Femke holds a Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical and Biological Laboratory Technology from Odisee, completed from September 2019 to June 2022.
