Priyanka Kothari

Priyanka Kothari is a highly qualified professional with extensive experience in biomedical research and project management. Currently serving as Associate Director of Pipeline Project Management at Legend Biotech since August 2025, Kothari previously held multiple positions at NextCure, Inc., including Director of Translational Research and Associate Director. Kothari's academic background includes a PhD in Cell Biology from Johns Hopkins University, focusing on the mechanobiome under the supervision of Douglas Robinson, PhD. The doctoral thesis involved utilizing microscopy and biochemical techniques to study cellular responses to mechanical environments, relevant to critical biological processes. Prior research experience includes roles at the University of Pennsylvania, where Kothari investigated mitotic mechanisms during zebrafish development as part of a Master's thesis and served as a Research Assistant. Kothari holds both a Master's Degree in Chemistry and a Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry from the University of Pennsylvania.
