Linan Zhu

Mr. Linan Zhu joined Legend in 1989, and is a key person behind the facilitation and execution of Legend’s strategic transformations and upgrades. He founded Legend Capital in 2001, and now serves as Chairman of Legend Capital, Director and Member of Strategy Committee of the Board of Directors of Legend Holdings, and Director of Lenovo Group.

As the founder of Legend Capital, Mr. Zhu, with his entrepreneurial history, three decades of business management expertise, and extensive personal network, brings unique value to the firm in aspects of business development, investment management, financial management, human resource management, and information system building, etc. Mr. Zhu is also the architect of Legend Capital’s fundamental systems and philosophy, guiding its future with cultural belief of “Partners with common dreams and values realize vision together and share the success”, and “Pursue fortune of value”. His success as a venture capitalist also provided a stable foundation for the transformation of Legend Holdings into an investment holding company.

Besides his roles at Legend Capital, since 2001, Mr. Zhu has served in succession as Executive Vice President, President and Director of Legend Holdings Corporation. With his deep understanding and profound experience in business operation and investment, Mr. Zhu led the efforts at Legend Holdings to establish a unique and creative business model of driving growth with “two wheels” of strategic investment and financial investment, relentlessly promoted the development of Legend Holdings’ strategies and business segments, and built solid capabilities in talent capital, organization, investment and investment management.

Mr. Zhu Linan holds a Master's degree in E.E. from Shanghai Jiaotong University, and is a certified Senior Engineer. He enjoys an honorary allowance granted by the State Council.
