Erik Weibust

Erik Weibust is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in application and systems development. Currently serving as the Technology Leader at Legends since April 2024, Erik previously held the position of Director of Software Engineering at Capital One from October 2021 to October 2023. Before that, Erik was a Director at USAA, overseeing significant IT initiatives related to payments and enterprise correspondence from January 2017 to October 2021. Erik's earlier roles include Senior Director of Software Development at Research Now, where Erik managed the market research demand system driving substantial revenue, and leadership positions at Credera, where Erik directed a team of over 25 consultants. Erik's career also features technical roles at Countrywide Financial, M. Miller & Associates, and other companies, supported by a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management Information Systems from Texas A&M University.
