Nathan Bernard

Nathan Bernard is an accomplished data scientist with extensive experience in various roles across prominent organizations. Currently serving as Director of Data Science and previously as Senior Data Scientist at Legends since October 2018, Bernard contributes deep expertise in advanced data analytics. Prior experience includes a Data Scientist position at BLK BOX, where a neural network-driven consumer typing tool for Samsung Mobile was developed, and significant research at the University of Massachusetts Amherst as a Graduate Research Assistant focusing on LHC collision data analysis. Earlier roles include a Research Scientist position at CERN, where Monte Carlo simulations of synchrotron radiation were created, and a Manufacturing Engineering Intern at SpaceX, enhancing component assembly productivity. Bernard earned a PhD in Experimental Particle Physics from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a B.S. in Physics from UCLA.
