Deirdre Fojuwaye has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Deirdre started their career at Valley Nursing and Rehab Center as a certified nurses aide for a short period in 1991. Following that, they joined Wildhorse Resort & Casino in 1997, where they held various roles such as Tablegames Shift Supervisor, Manager on Duty, and eventually became a Tablegames Shift Manager. In 2012, they transitioned to Yakama Nation Legends Casino as a Surveillance Operator, responsible for maintaining communications and monitoring activities throughout the casino. In 2013, Deirdre was promoted to Assistant Tablegames Manager, where they oversaw tablegames operations, including compliance, strategic planning, budgeting, and reporting. Their most recent role, starting in August 2015, is Marketing Assistant Director at Yakama Nation Legends Casino.

Deirdre Fojuwaye earned a diploma in general studies from White Swan High School in 1989. Deirdre then attended Yakima Valley Community College from 1992 to 1994 and earned an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree. Continuing their education, Deirdre attended Yakima Valley College from 2013 to 2014 and obtained an Associate's Degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies. Deirdre further pursued their education at Yakima Valley College from 2014 to 2016, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Applied Science of Business Management. Lastly, Deirdre attended Central Washington University from 2016 to 2017 and completed a Master's Degree in Informational Technology and Administrative Management, with a specialization in Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management.
