Valmi Dufour-Lussier

Valmi Dufour-Lussier is a seasoned Lawyer and Patent Agent currently employed at ROBIC since 2021. With a strong background in intellectual property policy, Valmi served as a Research Assistant at the Centre for Intellectual Property Policy at McGill Law Faculty from 2018 to 2020, focusing on Open Science research. Prior experience includes a Technology Transfer Internship at McGill Research + Innovation, where Valmi assessed inventions and conducted intellectual property due diligence. Valmi has also held academic positions as a Postdoctoral Researcher and Adjunct Professor at Université de Moncton and Université de Lorraine, respectively, in addition to teaching roles at various institutions. Valmi holds a Bachelor of Civil Law and Juris Doctor from McGill University, a PhD in Computer Science from Université de Lorraine, a Master of Science in Cognitive Science from the Institute of Digital Sciences, Management and Cognition, and a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics from Université de Montréal.
