Aitken Karen serves as the Director of Parliamentary Education at the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia since August 2001 and is actively involved in various organizations, including serving as Co Chair for Equal Voice Victoria and a Board Member for Dancing Backwards, focusing on promoting women's history in Canadian political education. Previously, Aitken was the Chair for the Fairfield United Church council, overseeing strategic planning and resource management.
