Steven Hoenig

Steven Hoenig, PMP has extensive work experience in engineering and project management roles. Steven is currently serving as the Engineering Director at Legrand AV since April 2022. Prior to this, they worked at BAE Systems, Inc. from June 2018 to March 2022 as the Engineering Test Manager, where they managed a multi-site engineering team and provided test solutions for different business areas.

From October 2015 to June 2018, Steven was the Battery Test and Simulation Business Unit Leader at Bloomy, where they led a cross-functional team responsible for engineering system design, product development, and R&D. Steven also held the role of New Jersey Business Unit Leader at Bloomy from January 2009 to June 2018, where they launched and grew the business unit focused on automated test and measurement products.

Additionally, Steven worked as a Project Manager and Senior Project Engineer at Bloomy, leading the design and development of turnkey systems for automated test and data acquisition. Prior to joining Bloomy, they served as a Systems Engineer at Honeywell from June 1997 to November 2005, and as a Design Engineer at the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey from June 1995 to May 1997.

Steven Hoenig, PMP, has a strong educational background in Electrical Engineering. Steven earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical Engineering from The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art, where they studied from 1991 to 1995. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Electrical Engineering at Columbia Engineering, completing their studies from 1996 to 1998.

In addition to their academic achievements, Steven Hoenig has obtained several certifications. Notably, they are a Project Management Professional (PMP) certified by the Project Management Institute since December 2021. Steven also holds a Certified Professional Instructor certification obtained from National Instruments in August 2006. Furthermore, they have a Certified LabVIEW Architect certification; however, the institution, month, and year of obtaining this certification are not provided.
