Legro
Dorus Verhoeven is a seasoned sales representative with extensive experience in the agricultural sector, particularly focused on softfruit and strawberry growers. Currently employed at Legro since September 2009, Dorus has cultivated strong relationships in the industry. Previously, a sales representative at Flevoplant B.V. from November 2005 to August 2009, Dorus also served as an agronomist at SVZ from November 2000 to October 2005, specializing in food safety, and as an advisor for strawberries and vegetables at ZLTO from November 1993 to October 2000. Dorus holds an Ing degree in Tuinbouw from HAS Green Academy, completed between 1987 and 1992.

Legro
Legro is one of the largest substrate suppliers in Europe and beyond. We process and mix raw materials to obtain optimum substrates, customised to meet the specific needs of, in particular, tree growers, young plant growers, mushroom growers and soft fruit growers. Our philosophy is to manage the entire production process by ourselves. Therefore we have our own transport company and we own peat fields with a total area of around 3000 ha in the Baltic States. Currently we have three production locations in the Netherlands, one in Germany, one in Belgium, one in Latvia and one in India. Legro is a family business specialised in growing media that is now being managed by the fourth generation. The organisation also includes Legro Transport, Legro Mushroom Casing Solutions and Kalloveen.
