R. Scott Herring

R. Scott Herring is an experienced professional with a diverse background in emergency management, training, and technology support. As the Business Owner of Emergency Skills Institute LLC since June 2024, R. Scott Herring has provided emergency response skills training, including CPR/First Aid and Radiological Response. In addition, Herring has served as a Database Support Specialist at Lehigh Career & Technical Institute since August 2006, overseeing the Skyward Student Information System and facilitating data-driven decision making. Herring also functions as the Emergency Management Coordinator for West Hazleton Emergency Management Agency, enhancing emergency preparedness for a municipality of over 5,000 residents while volunteering with Luzerne County Emergency Management. Previous roles include Deputy EMS Chief and Field Training Officer at Greater Hazleton Ambulance LLC, and Technology Assistant at Hazleton Area School District. R.
