Christine Cook

VP of Strategic Planning & Initiatives at Lehigh University

Christine Cook is currently the Vice President of Strategic Planning & Initiatives at Lehigh University. Christine has extensive experience in higher education administration, having served in various leadership roles at Dartmouth College, the University of Delaware, and the University of Pennsylvania.

Cook began their career in higher education as the Assistant Director of University Relations at the University of Delaware in 1996. Christine then became the Director of Greek Life before being promoted to Assistant Dean for Finance & Administration in the College of Engineering. In 2004, they were promoted again to Associate Provost for Research Administration.

In 2011, Cook left the University of Delaware for Dartmouth College, where they served as the Chief Financial and Administrative Officer for Thayer School. In 2016, they were promoted to Vice Provost for Strategic Initiatives and Resource Planning. Christine held this position until 2020, when they returned to Lehigh University.

Christine Cook has a Master of Education (M.Ed.) from the University of Delaware.

Christine Cook reports to Joseph J. Helble, President. They are on a team with Ricardo Hall - VP, Student Affairs, William Gaudelli - Dean, College of Education, and Frank Roth - General Counsel.
