Beth A. Brooke

Ms. Brooke has been a member of the Lehigh Valley Health Network Board of Directors since 2021. She is the retired Global Vice Chair of Public Policy for EY, a globally integrated professional services network with more than 275,000 employees in 150 countries and revenue exceeding $35 billion. In this role, she brought together different stakeholders and perspectives to formulate strategic public policy initiatives. She also served as EY’s National Director of Tax Advisory Services and led its National Insurance Tax practice.

A CPA and Fellow in Life Management Institute (FLMI), Ms. Brooke has a comprehensive understanding of corporate governance, finance, accounting and auditing, and insurance. During the Enron accounting scandal, Ms. Brooke played a pivotal role in restoring confidence in the six largest global professional services networks and their role in the capital markets. Earlier in her career, she worked at the U.S. Department of the Treasury, where she was responsible for all tax policy matters related to insurance and managed care.
