Liv E. Vesely

SVP & Chief Philanthropy Officer at Lehigh Valley Health Network

Liv Vesely is Senior Vice President and Chief Philanthropy Officer of Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN), a position she has held since 2021. She is responsible for the design and implementation of comprehensive fundraising strategies and special projects to support the mission and strategic goals of LVHN. Ms. Vesely also oversees the expansion of LVHN’s philanthropic efforts into more markets and the establishment of strong relationships with colleagues, community members and partner organizations in all the regions LVHN serves.

Prior to joining LVHN, Ms. Vesely was President and Chief Advancement Officer with Jupiter Medical Center Foundation. There, she developed a $300 million comprehensive campaign strategy and operational development plan to support the long-term strategic vision for the medical center, securing more than $230 million in five years. She also was Deputy Chief Development Officer at Mount Sinai Health System in New York, Vice President of Development at Western Connecticut Health Network Foundation, and Director of Annual Giving and Development at Columbia University Medical Center.

Ms. Vesely holds a Master of Public Health, Executive Health Care Management and Administration from Columbia University, a Master of Arts, Latin American Studies from New York University, a U.K. Master of Arts, International Relations from University of Kent, and a Bachelor of Arts, International Relations and Spanish from Syracuse University.
