Michael A. Rossi

EVP and Chief Clinical Officer at Lehigh Valley Health Network

Dr. Rossi is the Chief Physician Executive of Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN). He also serves as President of Lehigh Valley Physician Group (LVPG), the employed medical group of LVHN with more than 1,500 physicians and advanced practice clinicians, and 250 practice locations throughout the region. He provides oversight of LVPG and the LVHN clinical department chairs, and also serves as Board Chair of the Lehigh Valley Health Network Accountable Care Organization (LVHNACO). Dr. Rossi holds the Anne C. and Carl R. Anderson Endowed Chair for Medical Executive Leadership at LVHN, and is a Clinical Professor of Cardiovascular Medicine for the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine.

Previous roles Dr. Rossi has held at LVHN include President of the LVHNACO, Chief of Cardiology and Medical Director of the Heart and Vascular Center, Holder of the Walter and Hazel May Chair for Excellence in Cardiology, and Clinical Professor of Medicine at Penn State University College of Medicine.

Dr. Rossi earned his Medical Degree at Brown University School of Medicine and a Master of Business Administration at DeSales University. He completed an Internal Medicine Residency at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, a Cardiology Fellowship at The Graduate Hospital (University of Pennsylvania), and an Advanced Cardiac Imaging Fellowship at Temple University Hospital.

Dr. Rossi is a Board Member with the National Association of Accountable Care Organizations in Washington, D.C. He is a former Executive Council Board Member with the PA Chapter of the American College of Cardiology, and has served on the boards of the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce, the Lehigh Valley Chapter of the American Heart Association and The Hillside School.
