David Fattal

Founder & CEO at Leia

David Fattal is the founder and CEO of Leia, a company that is reinventing the future through transformative technologies that will disrupt industries and economies around the world.

Previously, David worked as a research scientist at HP Labs from October 2005 to December 2013. As a staff member of the Quantum Science Research Team and specialist in Nano-Photonics, David worked on a variety of projects ranging from Quantum Computing to Optical Interconnects and Holographic Displays.

David's work on Diffractive Lightfield Backlighting made the cover of Nature in March 2013 and laid the foundation for our future work at Leia.

David Fattal received their PhD in Physics from Stanford University. Prior to that, they completed their BS and Master's degree in Theoretical Physics from École Polytechnique.
