Neshima Mavani is currently working as a Doctoral Researcher at the Leibniz Institute for Natural Product Research and Infection Biology - Hans Knöll Institute. Prior to this, Neshima was a Masters' Student Researcher at the same institute, focusing on RNA regulation in Fungal Pathogenesis. Neshima has also served as a Student Research Assistant at the Max Planck Institute for Chemical Ecology and as a Teaching Assistant at a Microbiology lab in Jacobs University Bremen. Neshima's educational background includes a Master of Science in Molecular Life Sciences from Friedrich Schiller University Jena and a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry & Cell Biology with a minor in Psychology from Jacobs University Bremen.
