Caitlin Horgan is a highly experienced teaching and research professional with a strong background in chemistry and biochemistry. Currently serving as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Notre Dame since September 2019, Caitlin leads laboratory experiments for non-chemistry majors. Prior experience includes a Research Assistant role at the Wyss Institute for Biologically Inspired Engineering, focusing on protein analytics, and a Teaching Assistant position at Simmons College, where responsibilities spanned several chemistry courses. Additionally, Caitlin has functioned as a Research Mentor at Gurney-Lee Laboratory and provided tutoring and grading support across various scientific subjects. Caitlin holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry from Simmons University and is pursuing a PhD in Biochemistry at the University of Notre Dame, expected to be completed in 2024.
