Manfred Maitz is a Senior Researcher at the Leibniz-Institut für Polymerforschung Dresden, leading a group focused on anticoagulant coatings and the development of bioresponsive materials with feedback properties. With a background that includes serving as a Guest Professor at Southwest Jiaotong University and a Foreign Expert Scientist at the Institute of Biomaterials and Surface Engineering, Manfred has extensive experience in laboratory setup, student education, and research in biomaterials, particularly related to hemocompatibility and biocompatible materials.
