Dr. Hauke Kegler

Dr. Hauke Kegler serves as the Programme Area Manager for Ocean Literacy Equity and Leadership and Project Coordinator at the Leibniz Centre for Tropical Marine Research (ZMT) GmbH since March 2019, where involvement includes developing data sharing and data handling policies in Tanzania and the Western Indian Ocean region through the New Digital Technologies for Biodiversity Data Handling Project. Prior roles include Project Manager for "GreenShipping Lower Saxony" at Maritimes Cluster Norddeutschland e. V. and Scientific Consultant at COREsea. Educational qualifications encompass a Ph.D. in Marine Biology from the University of Bremen, a Master of Science in Marine Biology from the Ocean University of China, as well as additional Master's and Bachelor's degrees in Marine Biology and General Biology from the University of Bremen.
