Dominic Nahr

Dominic Nahr is a seasoned photographer and editor, currently working at Neue Zürcher Zeitung since December 2021. As a founding member of MAPS and a brand ambassador for Leica Camera since 2018, Dominic has cultivated a strong professional presence in the photography industry. Additionally, Dominic serves as a lecturer at F+F Schule für Kunst und Design and has owned Dominic Nahr Photography since 2006, specializing in documenting significant stories across Asia and Africa, including the Arab Spring and various humanitarian crises. With experience as a contributing photographer for LFI – Leica Fotografie International and co-founder of the agency NAMARA represents, Dominic has a robust portfolio that includes work for publications such as Republik Magazine and Time Magazine, as well as assignments for UNHCR. Dominic Nahr holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Image Arts: Photography from Ryerson University, completed in 2008.
