Matthias Rost

Matthias Rost is an experienced professional in optical fabrication technology, currently serving as a Senior Expert at Leica Camera AG since August 2018, where responsibilities include the development of optical fabrication solutions and engineering operations. Prior to this role, Matthias held the position of Deputy Head of Technology Development at Buderus Schleiftechnik GmbH from October 2016 to July 2018. Academic experience includes a tenure as a Research Associate and Project Leader at EAH Jena - Ernst-Abbe-Hochschule Jena, contributing from April 2011 to September 2016. Matthias holds a Master of Engineering degree in Laser- & Optotechnologies and a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Precision Engineering, both obtained from Fachhochschule Jena.
