Rick Heil-Chapdelaine

Rick Heil-Chapdelaine is a highly experienced specialist in spatial biology, currently serving as a Spatial Biology Specialist at Leica Microsystems since March 2021, where responsibilities include driving sales and market development for innovative technologies in the field across the Western US and Canada. Previously, Rick held various roles focused on sales and business development at Cytiva and GE-Healthcare, and contributed significantly at Olympus Corporation of the Americas, where market share for confocal systems was expanded. Early career experiences include serving as Director of Imaging Technology at Hitschfel Instruments, where Rick established the imaging division and achieved notable sales growth, and as a Research Assistant Professor at Washington University School of Medicine, managing imaging systems while conducting advanced research. Rick holds a Ph.D. in Cell and Developmental Biology from Purdue University and a Bachelor of Science in Genetics and Cell Biology from the University of Minnesota.
