Sven Konzack

Sven Konzack has extensive work experience in product and innovation management. Sven is currently working as the Senior Director Global Product and Innovation Management at Leica Microsystems, a position they have held since June 2023. In this role, they lead seven global teams based in various locations, overseeing product and innovation management for Life Science, Applied, and Industry sectors.

Before joining Leica Microsystems, Sven worked at Danaher Corporation - Leica Microsystems as the Global Director of Product and Innovation Management from January 2023 to June 2023.

From 2014 to 2023, Sven held multiple roles at Leica Microsystems, including Director of Product Management and Site Leader at Leica Microsystems Vienna, Director of Product Management, Senior Product Manager, and Product Manager.

Prior to their tenure at Leica Microsystems, they worked at Olympus Europa Holding GmbH as a Product Manager from 2007 to 2013, with a brief stint as a Junior Product Manager from February 2007 to July 2007.

Sven began their career as a Postdoc at the Max-Planck-Institute for Structural Molecular Biology Hamburg, where they worked from June 2004 to January 2007.

Sven Konzack holds a Doctorate of Natural Science (Dr. rer. nat.) in Biology from the Max-Planck-Institute for Terrestrial Microbiology, which they earned from 2001 to 2004. Prior to that, they completed their diploma thesis in Biology at The Philipp University of Marburg from 1999 to 2000. Sven also holds a Diploma in Biology from the same university, which they obtained from 1994 to 1999.
