Michael Porras

Michael Porras, currently serving as Regional Field Service Manager (West) for Leica Biosystems since April 2024, specializes in providing technical services for the Digital Pathology team. Previously, at TRIMEDX from June 2017 to May 2023, Michael directed a high-performing Imaging Service team, significantly enhancing customer satisfaction and optimizing operations for a large portfolio of imaging systems. Michael's career also includes roles at Cepheid where team growth and efficiency were achieved, and at GE Healthcare, contributing to the establishment of new imaging business units. Michael's early experience features roles in technical service and management across several organizations, alongside a Bachelor of Science in Electronic Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
