Timothy Murphy-Stevens, PhD, currently serves as the Life Sciences Solutions Architect - Digital Pathology at Leica Biosystems since January 2022, following a position as Healthcare Solutions Architect in the same field. Prior to this role, Timothy was the Senior Instrument Specialist at the Allen Institute for Cell Science from August 2017 to September 2021 and was recognized as the "Microscope Whisperer" during earlier positions, including Senior Consultant in Microscopy and Image Analysis at Perfect Imaging and Image Analysis Consultant at RSIP Vision. Additional experience includes serving as a Field Application Specialist at Andor Technology, where support for the Life Sciences Research portfolio was provided, and at Olympus America, Inc. and Carl Zeiss MicroImaging as an Imaging Specialist, designing image analysis systems for biological and medical research. Timothy holds a PhD in Biology with a focus on Zoology, Evolution, and Neuroscience from Michigan State University, as well as a Bachelor's Degree in Biology and Psychology from Coe College.
