Aseem Rahman

Aseem Rahman currently serves as the Club Doctor at Leicester City Football Club since August 2021, providing medical care to players with an emphasis on musculoskeletal issues, cardiac matters, and concussion management, while also establishing a mental health working group. Additionally, Aseem is a Salaried GP at Livi UK since October 2022 and has been a Medical Consultant for NFL UK from January 2023 to December 2023, offering medical advice for the NFL Academy. Prior experience includes a GP Partner role at South Wigston Health Centre from August 2015 to July 2022, where Aseem led practice changes and served in various educational and oversight capacities. Aseem has held medical roles in multiple sports organizations, including Chief Medical Officer for Loughborough Lightning Rugby Union and East Midlands Lightning Cricket, as well as Team Doctor positions for Loughborough Lightning Netball and Leicester Riders. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Leicester and a degree in Sports and Exercise Medicine from the University of Bath.
