Evan Thompson

Evan Thompson is a seasoned sports analyst with extensive experience in rugby performance analysis. Currently serving as a Senior First Team Analyst for Leicester Tigers since July 2025, Evan previously held the position of Performance Analyst at LOU Rugby from January 2024 to July 2025, and worked as an Assistant Performance Analyst at FC Grenoble Rugby from June 2017 to February 2024, where responsibilities included creating individual and team outputs, filming training sessions, and providing real-time stats during games. Earlier in their career, Evan gained foundational experience as an Intern Performance Analyst with Queensland Rugby Union (Queensland Reds) from November 2014 to June 2017 and served as a Performance Analyst for the Queensland Reds U20's from 2015 to 2017. Evan holds a degree from the University of Southern Queensland, having graduated high school from St Peters Lutheran College in 2014.
