Monique Mulder

Associate Professor at Leiden University Medical Center

Monique Mulder currently serves as an Associate Professor at Leiden University Medical Center, with a career that includes roles as Assistant Professor, Senior Scientist, and Scientist since July 2016. Prior to this, Monique worked as a Postdoctoral Research Scientist at NKI-AVL, focusing on chemical biology research in the ubiquitin proteasome field, and held researcher positions during a PhD at Universiteit Utrecht. Experience also includes a guest associate editorship for Frontiers, overseeing an article collection on the ubiquitin landscape, and various internships that contributed to expertise in peptide chemistry, cyclization methods, and organometallic chemistry. Monique holds a Ph.D. in Medicinal Chemistry and Chemical Biology from Utrecht University, along with an MSc in Drug Innovation and a BSc in Organic Chemistry.
