Frits Rosendaal

Frits Rosendaal is a distinguished academic and editor with extensive experience in clinical epidemiology and medical ethics. Currently serving as Editor in Chief at Research Integrity and Peer Review since May 2023 and a Member of Council for the Committee on Publication Ethics since April 2017, Rosendaal holds the position of Professor of Clinical Epidemiology at LUMC since November 1997 and has been a researcher at Leiden University since May 1985. Additionally, Rosendaal is Vice Chair of the National Committee for Medical Ethics until June 2025 and has held various leadership roles, including Editor in Chief at the Journal of Thrombosis and Haemostasis and Chairman of the Council for the International Society on Thrombosis and Haemostasis. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Haemophilia from Leiden University and an MD from Erasmus University Rotterdam.
