Roy Steneker

Roy Steneker is a PhD Researcher at Leiden University since December 2021, contributing to advanced research in chemistry. Prior experience includes an internship in R&D at Polfa Tarchomin S.A. in July 2019, where knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry was acquired and connections with CMOs in Europe were established for new CNS product manufacturing. Additionally, Roy completed a research internship at the University of Groningen under the supervision of a Nobel Laureate, focusing on the synthesis and characterization of novel artificial light-driven molecular motors in March-April 2019. Prior to these roles, Roy served as a tutor in high-school chemistry at Bijlesje.nl from January to June 2018. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Chemistry from Leiden University, an undergraduate exchange program at McGill University, and a Bachelor's Honours Programme along with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Groningen.
