Gertjan Boshuizen

Gertjan Boshuizen has extensive experience in financial and operational management within academic and corporate settings. As of April 2008, Gertjan holds the positions of Directeur Bedrijfsvoering and Directeur Financiën at Leiden University, following roles as Hoofd Financieel Economische Zaken and plv. directeur Bedrijfsvoering. Gertjan also served as Directeur at Libertatis Ergo Holding BV from May 2014 to August 2023 and held the position of Hoofd Financiën & Control at NWO from November 1999 to March 2008. Earlier career experience includes serving as a Controller at PWN from March 1995 to November 1999. Gertjan's academic credentials include degrees in finance and control from the University of Amsterdam, bedrijfseconomie from Erasmus University Rotterdam, and HEAO bedrijfseconomie from Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences. Gertjan completed VWO at Groen van Prinsterer Lyceum.
