Job Weststrate

Job Weststrate is a seasoned academic and educational professional currently serving as the Head of Educational Advice and Quality Care at Leiden University since 2013. In this role, Job Weststrate oversees the implementation of educational policies and quality control for the History Department's curriculum. Prior to this position, Job Weststrate held various academic roles including Assistant Professor at both Leiden University and the University of Amsterdam, where responsibilities included teaching courses on Medieval and Dutch history and conducting research projects. Job Weststrate's experience also extends to secondary education as a Coordinator of Studies and a teacher at OBS De Morskring. A graduate of Leiden University with a Master of Arts in History, Job Weststrate furthered education with a Bachelor of Arts in Primary School Education.
