Leander van Veen

Leander van Veen is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in product ownership and leadership within the technology and business sectors. Currently serving as Product Owner and Team Leader IAM at Universiteit Leiden since March 2024, Leander previously held multiple roles at P1 Travel from March 2020 to February 2024, including Head of Product, Head of IT, and Product Owner. Prior to that, Leander worked at MN from September 2014 to February 2020, beginning as a Business Analyst and advancing to Product Owner. Leander's career began at Achmea as a Business Analyst from September 2011 to August 2014, followed by a consulting role at Capgemini Nederland where various roles such as process designer and project leader were undertaken from April 2007 to August 2011. Earlier experience includes a position as Beoordelaar AOW/ANW at SVB Sociale Verzekeringsbank from April 2003 to March 2007. Leander holds a Bachelor's degree in Marketing/Commercial Economics with a specialization in Marketing Management from Haagse Hogeschool Den Haag (1998-2002).
