Mariken Teeuwen

Mariken Teeuwen serves as a Bijzonder hoogleraar in "Schriftcultuur in de Middeleeuwen" at the Universiteit Leiden since March 2022, contributing 0.2 FTE to the Instituut voor Geschiedenis. In addition, Mariken has held the position of Senior onderzoeker at Huygens ING (KNAW) since September 1998. Prior to this, a role as Bijzonder hoogleraar in "Transmission of medieval Latin texts" was undertaken at the Universiteit Utrecht from September 2011 to September 2021. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Medieval Studies and Musicology from Utrecht University, obtained between 1994 and 2000, along with two Master’s degrees in Medieval Studies and Musicologie, earned between 1987 and 1993.
