Pieter Pierrot

Pieter Pierrot is an experienced educator currently serving as a Teamleader and Lecturer at De Haagse Hogeschool / The Hague University of Applied Sciences since August 2025, focusing on programming, software development, and technological innovation within the part-time track of the HBO-ICT bachelor program. Concurrently, Pieter coordinates the 'Artificial Intelligence: Understand & Create' course at the Universiteit Leiden's Honours College since August 2023. Prior roles include Junior Lecturer at the Universiteit van Amsterdam from August 2022 to July 2025, where Pieter coordinated MSc courses in Artificial Intelligence and supervised Teaching Assistants. Additionally, Pieter has held various positions at Hoogvliet BV from November 2007 to September 2022 and served as a Teaching Assistant at Universiteit Leiden in early 2019. Pieter holds a Master of Science in Media Technology from Leiden University and a Bachelor of Science in Artificial Intelligence from Utrecht University.
