Brandon Church

Brandon Church has a diverse work experience, ranging from their current role as a UI/UX Developer at Leidit, LLC in 2023, to their previous position as CEO, lead developer, and designer at Modern Softworks since September 2020. At Modern Softworks, they created web technologies for clients, including SEO optimization, accessibility, mobile responsiveness, and unique user experiences. Additionally, they provided digital marketing services such as marketing campaigns, graphic designs, and video advertisements.

Prior to Modern Softworks, Brandon worked at Jobvite as a UI Developer from April 2022 to October 2022, where they developed functioning career websites using HTML, CSS, JS, jQuery, Liquid JS, and foundation CSS. Brandon also directly interacted with clients to explain the development process and review design aspects.

Before that, Brandon was a Frontend Developer at Rural Sourcing from January 2020 to September 2020, building new systems using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and React. Brandon also developed new functionalities for existing software products and ensured that the business systems met client requirements.

In 2019, Brandon worked as a Software Developer at MAP Academy Tutors, where they led a development team as a scrum master in an agile environment. Brandon successfully developed a fully functional application from start to finish, solely designing and developing the front-end.

Prior to that, Brandon was self-employed as a Software Developer from June 2016 to September 2019, where they developed, designed, and deployed websites and web-based applications for clients. Brandon worked with mobile technologies such as React Native and Xamarin, and also handled client meetings, negotiations, and project timelines.

Brandon also gained experience as a Field Technician at HP from June 2016 to April 2019, where they performed warranty repairs and installations on various HP devices, managed their daily schedule, and directly communicated with end users.

In 4T's Computers, Brandon worked as a Network Manager from October 2014 to June 2016, where they were responsible for the management of over 20 commercial networks. Brandon performed network and server installations, migrations, and implemented VOIP. Brandon also worked with virtual machines, cloud-based servers, and Microsoft SCCM.

In their earlier career, Brandon served as a System Administrator at Unisys from February 2012 to September 2014, managing Active Directory, providing technical support to multiple companies, performing software installations, part ordering, and resolving software and network issues.

Brandon Church attended Augusta Technical College from 2018 to 2021, where they earned an Associate of Science degree in Computer Programming. Brandon obtained certifications such as Certified JavaScript Developer from W3Schools.com in April 2021, Google: Digital Marketing from Google in February 2021, Microsoft MTA: HTML & CSS from Microsoft 365 Partner in February 2021, Microsoft Certified Educator (MCE) from Microsoft 365 Partner in February 2021, C# Programmer Certification from Augusta Technical College in December 2020, C++ Programmer Certification from Augusta Technical College in December 2020, and CompTIA A+ from CompTIA in October 2018.
