Frederick Koontz

Frederick (Rick) Koontz is a seasoned Deputy Security Operations Center (SOC) Manager with extensive experience in security operations, risk mitigation, and threat detection. Currently serving at Leidos since 2024, they oversee daily security operations while enhancing operational efficiency and compliance with security standards. Previously, Koontz held key roles at Allyon, Inc. and the US Navy, where they provided expert guidance in Information System security and led digital forensics initiatives. Koontz earned a Bachelor's Degree from American Military University between 2015 and 2018, further solidifying their commitment to security excellence.
