Jason Schaake is a quantum information scientist with over 20 years of experience in various areas, including quantum optics, nonlinear optics, and photonics. Currently serving as a Technical Consultant at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, Jason develops and presents curriculum to teach quantum mechanics to non-technical audiences. Previously, Jason worked as a Researcher at the University of Tennessee and as a Research Physicist at Qubitekk, Inc., and held a postdoctoral position at ORAU, focusing on compressive sensing applications. Jason earned a Master of Science in Physics from Southern Illinois University, Edwardsville, and a PhD in Physics/Optics from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
